It’s not too hard to find what’s trending on Norwegian youtube if you have a VPN. But if you’re anything like me, you don’t always like to watch what’s trending. I love to watch lifestyle YouTubers who film vlogs, workouts, and what I eat in a days. Hauls are a plus, too. However, this list doesn’t only include lifestyle YouTubers! It took some digging to find these YouTubers, but they’re now my favorite Norwegian YouTubers to help me learn Norwegian!
You also don’t need a VPN to watch the youtubers mentioned here (aside from bonus “youtuber” I include at the bottom).

How to Use This List of Norwegian Youtubers
This list will include a couple of Youtube channels led by Norwegian teachers, if you want videos targeted towards learners. So if you plan on watching to explicitly learn new vocabulary words, these videos are for you.
These are also made with clear speech, so they may be easier to follow than the Norwegian channels that are full of content for native speakers.
The other Youtubers I’ve included on this list are what I really wanted to find for the longest! I’m someone whose preferred media is Youtube instead of TV, so if I’m going to immerse myself in the language, I’m better off finding Youtubers who speak my target language than finding tv shows or movies.
That’s where this list comes in.
As mentioned before, if you like lifestyle YouTubers, these will hopefully be a good fit to help with your Norwegian immersion. You may not understand everything being said (because hey, it’s made for native speakers!) but that’s part of the learning journey.
Bonus: Since these are all videos and not just audio (think podcasts), it can be easier to follow along since you can see what’s going on. Visuals provide context.
Celina
When it comes to Norwegian lifestyle Youtubers, Celina Karina is one of my favorites. She makes lifestyle vlogs, hauls, makeup videos, etc. She’s one of the first Norwegian youtubers I found that I really liked, so I recommend her videos a ton! She’s also really easy to understand.
Norsklære Karense
What’s a Norwegian YouTubers list without Norsklære Karense? She makes Norwegian language learning videos in norwegian, based on a variety of topics learners may be struggling with.
I could understand most of what she was saying when I was A2, so I recommend her videos to learners pretty much regardless of where you are in your language learning journey.
Chiomaacom
This YouTuber is a great one for makeup videos. Unfortunately, she hasn’t updated in a while, but who’s to say she won’t update in the future? Check her out if you’re into makeup videos!
Beate Wibe
Beate Wibe makes more fitness style videos, with vlogs featuring her workouts, what she eats in a day, or activewear try-on hauls. Another favorite of mine, if you’re into fitness I highly recommend her!

Simple Norwegian
This channel is a gem for Norwegian language learners.
I suspect it was developed to fill the hole the well-known channel Easy Languages left since they have a very sparse Norwegian section. This channel features interviews with Norwegian locals, asking them their opinions on different topics.
They take place in Trondheim but since they feature many different locals you hear dialects from all around Norway.
These videos include the subtitles in the dialect of the speaker, the bokmål version, and english, so this is a great one if you want to do some intensive listening. There aren’t many Norwegian Youtubers with English Youtubers, so I appreciate the subtitles these use!
Amalie Olsen
Amalie Olsen is a popular Norwegian YouTuber that has a quirky and somewhat edgy vibe. She films lifestyle videos and is fun to watch. She’s also pretty easy to understand.
Dr. Wasim Zahid
This channel is a bit different since the YouTuber here is a Norwegian doctor!
He covers different health topics, while also taking fun quizzes and reacting to viral videos that could use the weigh-in of a professional doctor. He’s also pretty easy to follow because he speaks very clearly.
NRK Humor
NRK Humor has a variety of different themed videos that are pretty funny depending on your sense of humor! I like to watch their short cartoon skits.
They include a variety of dialects so it’s a good way to practice understanding more than the more “standard” Oslo dialect.
Malene Pedersen
The ninth YouTuber on the list is another lifestyle YouTuber, who films vlogs, what I eat in a days, and hauls!
Bonus: Cartoon Network Norge
This is the only account that requires a VPN to watch most of the videos they post, but if you love cartoon network cartoons like I do (helloooo Adventure Time and Regular Show!) then this account is a gold mine!
The VPN I use is Windscribe, and I love them! I pay for their pro subscription so that I can access unlimited data (just in case I forget to turn off the VPN) and you can choose which country you want access to, making them really affordable (I pay $3 a month!). Their newsletter is also hilarious.
Just watching full episodes of Adventure Time in Norwegian makes having the VPN so worth it for me. If you don’t want to get a VPN, the channel also posts clips (2-5 minutes long) that you can still watch.
I hope this list was helpful! Check them out, and practice your Norwegian at the same time.
